Opening for the 2026 season: Camping La Ferme de Castellane welcomes you from 20 March
It's official: the Campsite La Ferme de Castellane opens its doors this 20 March 2026 for a new season in the heart of Gorges du Verdon.
After a winter of preparation, our 3-star campsite in Castellane is ready to welcome you to an exceptional natural setting, between mountains, pine forests and pure air at an altitude of 700 metres.
Whether you are looking for a spring weekend or if you're already planning your next trip. summer holidays in the Verdon, Now is the perfect time to book. The first few weeks offer absolute peace and quiet, low prices and a natural environment in full bloom.
Why come to Castellane in spring?
Spring in the Gorges du Verdon is a well-kept secret. Away from the summer crowds, it's the ideal time to make the most of the Verdon and its surroundings.
In March and April in Castellane, the days are mild and sunny, the nights cool under a starry sky. The hiking trails are accessible without the crowds, the waters of the Verdon are beginning to take on their turquoise hue, and the terraces of Castellane are lively once again.
From the campsite, you can head straight for the GR4 which crosses our estate, join the Lake Castillon in 3 km, or explore the village of Castellane with its famous Roc and the Notre-Dame chapel perched at 903 metres.

Chalet Confort Plus with private jacuzzi
New for 2026, our Chalet Confort Plus with jacuzzi joins the range of accommodation with private spa. From 100/night, This 26.5 m² chalet sleeps up to 5 people and has its own Jacuzzi on the terrace.
It's the perfect option for a couples getaway or a family wellness break, at a more affordable price than the Chalet Prestige.
It joins our Chalet Prestige with jacuzzi (35 m², from €180/night), which remains the ultimate premium campsite experience.
The Spa & Massage area
Our wellness area - unique among all Castellane campsites - is back with six types of massage performed by our qualified professional masseuse: Californian, Hawaiian, energetic, Swedish, Japanese and foot reflexology.
The spa's private Jacuzzi is available as a solo or duo bath, or can be fully privatised for your events.

Unusual accommodation as magical as ever
Us 7 unusual accommodations are ready for the season: Nordic Pod, Cabane Féerique, Cabane Enchantée, Drôle de Logis, Adventure Tent, Eco-house and Roulotte.
Each accommodation offers a unique experience in the heart of Provencal nature. Sleeping in a pod under the stars of the Verdon, waking up in a cabin surrounded by forest - that's the essence of La Ferme de Castellane.
What to expect this season
Heated swimming pool - open from 1 May to 30 September
Our heated swimming pool is the ideal place to relax and refresh during your stay. Thanks to its heated water, you'll be able to enjoy it to the full from the moment you arrive. 1st May to 30th September.
The pool is open from 10am to 8pm every day, offering you long days of swimming, water games and relaxation. In July and August’aqua-gym are offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
The mini-farm
Children (and adults) will love our animals: chickens, goats, donkeys and pigs. Being close to animals has been part of our identity for over 20 years.
